Parents [HORROR] Hiding Spots Guide
Official badges confirm hiding in a closet and in a shower. They do not prove permanent safety, so use each spot to break pursuit and recover your objective route.
Closet and shower interactions supported by official badge names
Official badges confirm hiding in a closet and in a shower. They do not prove permanent safety, so use each spot to break pursuit and recover your objective route.
Step 1
Enter with an exit plan
- Know which objective you will return to before hiding.
- Avoid entering when the parent is already blocking the only exit.
- In co-op, tell teammates which hiding area you used.
Step 2
Use the pause to recover
- Check stamina and the current objective.
- Listen and watch for the pursuit path to move away.
- Leave toward a known loop instead of the nearest unknown doorway.
Step 3
Do not confuse a badge with a full mechanic
Badge names support the existence of closet and shower interactions, but not exact detection radii, cooldowns, immunity time, or a complete list of hiding locations.
Step 4
When hiding makes the run worse
- The team loses track of a route-critical item.
- Everyone stacks in one area and leaves objectives unattended.
- You exit into the same blocked corridor repeatedly.
- You wait while the live objective could be completed safely elsewhere.
